Cosmetics are composed of mixtures of chemical compounds derived from either natural sources or synthetically created ones.[1] Cosmetics have various purposes, including personal and skin care. Organic compounds modified natural oils organic skin care products contain natural ingredients. Inorganic cosmetics are made from products that are formulated in laboratory. IARC's mission is to promote international cooperation in cancer research. IARC incorporates scientific evidence and classifies the drugs it reviews into five levels. A carcinogen is a substance, organism, or agent that can cause cancer. some of the carcinogenic cosmetics are Formaldehyde, Parabens, Coal Tar. It may cause so many health impact.

KEYWORDS: Cosmetics, Carcinogens, Health impact, Organic Carcinogens, Inorganic Carcinogens.

Level of Cosmetics Based on Carcinogens:

IARC's mission is to promote international cooperation in cancer research.3-4

IARC incorporates scientific evidence and classifies the drugs it reviews into five levels

·       Group 1: Carcinogenic to humans

·       Group 2A: Potentially carcinogenic to humans

·       Group 2B: Probably carcinogenic for humans

·       Group 3: Not classified as a human carcinogen

·       Group 4: Probably not a human carcinogen

CARCINOGENS:

·       Formaldehyde

·        Parabens

·       Coal Tar

·       Formaldehyde

FORMALDEHYDE:

Formaldehyde4 has been added intentionally to some products like keratin hair straightener. Formaldehyde-releasing preservatives (FRPs) are also commonly used in personal care products such as

·       Nail polish

·       Paint

·       Mascara,

·       Shampoo

Health impact:

·       exposure can damage the eyes, nose, throat and respiratory system

EPA (US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)) considers Formaldehyde to be carcinogenic to humans Formaldehyde is "carcinogenic to humans" because there is sufficient evidence that it causes nasopharyngeal cancer and leukemia

PARABENS:

Parabens4 are a family of related chemicals that are often used as antiseptics in cosmetics.

This label is certified in accordance with our previous COSMOS guidelines:

Cosmetique Bio Charte The Cosmebio label promotes compliance with the first set of specific guidelines established by the organization:

The content of originating ingredients in all products is not purchased less than 95% of the product
