The outbreak of the disease was declared as Pandemic by World health organization in March 20201.

Illness perceptions and coping behaviors related to the COVID-19 pandemic could be important as they may be associated with the increased psychological burden of depression and anxiety that has been reported mainly in health professionals. In addition, specific perceptions and coping strategies may lead to more adaptive health behaviors and rates of compliance with official recommendations, as it was the case in previous viral outbreaks2.

Corona virus disease (COVID-19) has had an enormous public health impact. In addition to its serious physical health consequences, Pandemic protocols and lockdown have shows major impacts on the mental health of society. The virus has introduced new stressors (e.g., fears of contracting the virus, concern for loved ones contracting the virus, economic uncertainty, job loss, social distancing) and challenges (e.g., maintaining strong social relationships while social distancing, staying productive while working from home).3

Having limited knowledge with regard to COVID‐19 and being overwhelmed by its coverage in the media can cause anxiety and fear in the community4

Nurses are the backbone of health care systems nursing students are the major support to nursing professionals in the hospital during the pandemic5.

The risk of acquiring COVID-19 as a care provider is significant. Nurses are one among the health care team members to be in frontline actively engaged into fight against COVID-19. The unprecedented demand on nursing staff during the pandemic is having a huge impact on their own wellbeing. Across the world there are concerns that nursing Capacity to promise care will be stretched by the increased workload6.

Psychological distress and downstream negative academic consequences are prevalent under normal circumstances. Based on insights from research, examining the impact of academic disruptions on students, it is reasonable to venture that students may experience reduced motivation toward studies, increased pressures to learn independently, abandonment of daily routines. Increasing academic stressors in a population with heightened preexisting stress levels and a potentially reduced ability to rely on typical coping strategies, the COVID-19 pandemic has placed an unprecedented mental health burden on students which urgently requires further examination and immediate intervention.Currently published studies are focused on disease prevalence, clinical characteristics, diagnosis, treatment and few studies on providing psychological problems of medical personnel7.
